Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, events, and services provided by The Social Scene (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a ticket and attending an event, you “the participant” agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Our events are designed for young adults aged 18–30 living in or visiting Hong Kong. Participants must be 18 years or older to attend any event.

3. Event Bookings

  • All bookings must be made through our official website

  • A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.

4. Payment Terms

  • Prices are listed in HKD.

  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

The following refund rules apply:

  • Cancellations made the day before an event will get a 50% refund

  • Cancellations made the day of an event will get a 25% refund.

  • No‑shows receive no refund.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified as soon as possible and receive credit for a future event.

6. Event Conduct

Participants agree to:

  • Behave respectfully toward other attendees, staff, and venues.

  • Follow all instructions provided by event hosts.

  • Avoid disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these expectations without refund.

7. Health & Safety

  • Participants attend events at their own risk.

  • You are responsible for assessing your own physical ability to participate in our fitness based events (padel, pilates, etc.)

  • Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions or dietary requirements before attending any events.

8. Photography & Media

By attending our events, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in media, please notify us before the event begins.

9. Liability

The Social Scene is not responsible for:

  • Injury resulting from misuse or failure to follow instructions.

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings.

  • Transportation delays or issues outside our control.

  • Reactions related to food allergies or dietary restrictions

  • Effects of alcohol consumption, including behaviour

10. Changes to Events

We aim to keep all event details as originally scheduled. However, we reserve the right to adjust event time, venue, or activities when necessary. If changes do occur, event participants will be notified as soon as possible.

11. Entire Agreement

This constitutes the entire agreement between The Social Scene and the participant. Any statements, promises, discussions, or agreements made outside of this document, whether verbal, written, or implied, are not part of this agreement and hold no legal effect unless formally added in writing.
